Nottingham Forest vs Bristol City

Team news ahead of Saturday's Championship clash at the City ground is that Derek McInnes has a couple of problems to deal with.

The manager is sweating on whether Ryan Taylor will be fit to take his place in the side, he had to miss the Capital One Cup game with Gillingham in midweek after injuring his ankle during training.

Jon Stead and Brett Pitman are City's only options up front as Nicky Maynard has not yet been replaced since his move to West Ham United last season.

The one player who was on the score sheet against Gillingham, Marvin Elliott, will be looking for a start, while Stephen Pearson could well be replaced by Yannick Bolasie who came on as a sub for City against the Gills and made a big improvement to the side.

Paul Anderson could find himself facing the side that he left in the summer.

For the home side, Simon Cox could make his debut against the Robins after arriving at the City Ground on Tuesday, but faces late tests to see if he has fully recovered from playing for the Republic of Ireland in midweek.

Lee Camp is another Irishman who has been on international duty, this time for Northern Ireland who drew 3-3 with Finland on Wednesday night.

Karl Darlow is the player he is likely to replace, he was the player who gave Forest victory with a late winner at Fleetwood in the league cup.

Manager Sean O'Driscoll has no injury concerns as summer signing Simon Gillett has recovered from the slight knock that saw him miss out at Fleetwood.
