McInnes Has Confidence Ahead Of Palace Visit

Despite starting the season with two defeats, Bristol City manager Derek McInnes is confident about the clash with Crystal Palace at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night.

McInnes was pleased with what he saw at Forest on Saturday saying that his side were unlucky and deserved at least a draw.

As for Palace, they were beaten by Watford on Saturday and will no doubt be looking to gain lost points back at Ashton Gate, McInnes however has other thoughts.

"Palace will come here and want to prove themselves as difficult opponents," McInnes told the club`s official website.

"They don`t concede many goals, it was ultimately a couple of mistakes that lost them the game on Saturday.

"Overall they`re very disciplined, well drilled and a difficult team to play against.

"We must be confident in our work and make sure we get ourselves in front. If we do that I`m confident we will get the three points.'

We need a boost and this is the right time to get one, if we lose again then depression will start to set in again.
