Mackay Points To Defensive Mistakes

Cardiff manager Malky Mackay was left feeling a bit like having a moan after Bristol City beat his Cardiff City side at Ashton Gate on Saturday.

By the time Joe Mason and Heidar Helguson had got their names on the score sheet, it was pretty much all over for the Bluebirds.

They were playing catch up for most of the afternoon and even though they managed to get within one goal of City on two occasions, they could not find the extra boost they needed to get level.

Mackay bemoaned to reporters: 'Without taking anything away from Bristol's performance, we conceded some bad goals. We gave the ball away in poor areas, which is not like us. We started the season defensively strong, but today we didn't keep to that standard.

'If you gift possession to good teams they are going to punish you. We will look at the DVD and identify where we could have done a lot better.'

Mackay talks like a dick, they were beat because we were a lot better than his two bit squad of sheep rapists.
