Ex-City Keeper James With Bournemouth

Former Bristol City and England goalkeeper David James is training with League One side Bournemouth.

The 42-year-old, winner of 53 England caps has joined Perry Groves' side on the training field with the Cherries boss looking to use the player to help stop the goals being shipped into the Bournemouth net.

As well as once working with Groves in his career, James has also worked with Harry Redknapp who is at Bournemouth in an advisory role.

It was obvious when he was here that he should have retired, surely he could get a coaching job? Never rated him much even when he was Englands number 1
