Elokobi Suffers 'Horrendous injury.'

Wolves defender George Elokobi played his first and last game for Bristol City on Saturday afternoon against Leeds United.

The big defender will miss the rest of the season after fracturing and dislocating his ankle in the first half of the 3-2 defeat at Ashton Gate.

Elokobi had only just arrived on a loan deal from Wolves and was hoping to get his career back on track.

The club have confirmed he will undergo immediate surgery.

'It's a horrendous injury and he won't play again this season,' manager Derek McInnes told the club's official website.

Hope he can make a full recovery and get back into action again, shame for the lad.

The moment it happened you could see it was serious. Even Leeds boss Neil Warnock called for a stretcher even before the physio was on the pitch. Most of the players walked away so it couldn't have looked pretty. Hope he makes a recovery but it is going to be a slow process.
