Wilson Goes Straight Into Squad

Bristol City's new loan signing Danny Wilson goes straight into the squad that travels to Middlesbrough on Saturday.

The 20 year old arrived from Liverpool to add a bit of a boost to the defence because Stephen McManus and Lewin Nyatanga both out, while Greg Cunningham is still a couple of weeks away from being fit for a return to action.

Bad news for City is that striker Jon Stead will be ruled out for a few weeks with a groin problem suffered in training.

McInnes explained to the club's official website: 'He overstretched on the training field. It's a blow because he's going to miss a few weeks of action with it. We'll get it properly assessed to find out the full extent in the coming days.'

Louis Carey and Matthew Briggs are both fit enough for action; this will be Briggs' last game before going back to Fulham.

Cole Skuse and Jody Morris are both still out.
