Solbakken Thought Win Could Have Been Bigger

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken left Ashton Gate happy with the way his side beat City 4-1, but felt that they could have had a few more goals.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Bjorn Sigurdarson and a brace from Kevin Doyle had the visitors in a commanding lead by the time the half time whistle sounded.

It was a good day for the Midlands outfit with the victory being their first in nine games, even though the manager thought it could have been by a bigger margin.

'It is never easy to come away to a team that is lower than you in the table after being on the run we have been on,' said Solbakken to reporters.

'Maybe we got some luck which we haven't had with the first goal which look as if it may have been an own goal. After that I think we played very well and scored some good goals and could have added to the tally in the second half.

'We had three or four very good chances inside the first 20 minutes of the second half. But I can live fine with the fact that we only scored four!'
