Cunningham Set For Return To Action

Defender Greg Cunningham could be making an earlier return to the City squad than expected after making speedy progress in his recovery from an ankle problem.

The Irishman could be a surprise member of the squad that is to face Derby County this weekend although it was first feared that he would not be back until into the New Year.

He could find himself on the bench after showing good signs in training this week.

Another player who Derek McInnes can welcome back is Steven Davies, he has been declared fit again after missing the 3-2 win at Sheffield Wednesday.

Jody Morris and Martyn Woolford are also available for selection.
