Warnock Praises Goalscorer

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock was not slow in coming forward with the praise for match winner Ross McCormack after taking all three points against Bristol City.

And the Leeds boss was quick to point out that it was not just his goal that he deserved the plaudits for, it was his all-round play throughout the game.

It was McCormack's second strike in two games for Leeds and his boss knew through how the game was panning out that if anyone was going to step up to the plate and win the game, then it was very likely to be that man McCormack.

Warnock told reporters: 'I thought if anyone was going to score it was Ross.

'It was a cracking goal, he deserved it and he covered lots of ground.

'He was a fraction away from putting one in at the end of the first half and looked very sharp.'
