Robins Hope To Have O'Kelly In Place Soon

Robins Hope To Have O'Kelly In Place Soon

Bristol City have made moves towards bringing Walsall's Richard O'Kelly to Ashton Gate as an assistant to Sean O'Driscoll.

News broke last week about the move and now it has been confirmed that City asked for permission to talk to the 56 year old and O'Driscoll hopes to have his new man in place before City take on Ipswich on Saturday.

Walsall manager Dean Smith will not be happy to lose O'Kelly, but knows the two have worked together before at Bournemouth and Doncaster so he knows it would be no surprise if the two joined up again.
