Anderson Confident Of City Avoiding The Drop

Bristol City winger Paul Anderson is certain that the club can avoid relegation and set themselves up for a better season next time around.

Two wins on the bounce has put City in with a much better chance of digging themselves out of trouble although the defeat on Saturday at Blackburn was a bit of a setback, they could be out of the relegation places with a couple of wins.

Anderson says moral is still good and the squad that City have is good enough to stay up.

Speaking to reporters, Anderson said: 'We are all in it together and we all believe we are good enough. At the start of the season there was never a thought we'd be battling relegation with the squad we've got.

'It is amazing the swings and roundabouts in this league and we are all positive and believe we can get out of it.'

All well and good but do you really expect a player to say anything else when asked? Hope he is right though

He might be confident but I'm certainly not.
