Carey Gets The All Clear After Scan

Carey Gets The All Clear After Scan

Bristol City have announced that Louis Carey's knee injury is not as serious as it could have been after results came back from a scan.

The 36 year old had a coming together with Marcus Olsson at Ewood Park on Saturday, which resulted in the veteran being taken off with a knee injury.

At first it was feared that there may have been a fracture but scans have shown that bones are still intact.

There is an outside chance of the player being okay for this weekend's game with Nottingham Forest.

At 36 he has reached the age where the next injury could be his last.
