'If It's Football, It's Vital'

O'Driscoll Keeps Focused On The Positives

Bristol City manager Sean O'Driscoll felt that his side missed out on a point from the game against Cardiff on Saturday.

The game ended 2-1 with Fraizer Campbell grabbing two first half goals for the home side before the Robins were given a consolation own goal in stoppage time.

The defeat keeps City next to bottom place in the league but now they have played more games than the teams around them. But despite all, O'Driscoll remains upbeat and pointed to what he feels was positives to be taken from the game.

He told reporters after the game: 'They're a good team. Their front two, the firepower, is one to envy. If they score good goals, credit to them.

'The application from the team was first-class. That's pleasing and we could've walked away with a point.

'We'd led a charmed life up until the first goal. At the same time we were resilient; that's an asset. With limited possession you have to be effective when you have it. We did that better in the second half.'

Looks like we are going to have to start and face facts, unless we suddenly get good and string a run of about five games good results together, we are going down. Not O'Driscolls fault

We cant throw the towel in yet, Cardiff away was always likely to be a defeat, they are top of the league by some distance and other teams have received a lot worse than we got. Things look messy now that is true but the results have been getting better of late. We can still get out of this hole its too early to give up yet.

Very good tyke. Now I know you northern soap-dodging, sister loving, beer bellied, fat eating morons get bored during the daylight hours, but go and be bored somewhere else. Or I'll put your mothers phone number back in Exchange and Mart.
