'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Arsenal Youngster Joins City

Bristol City boss Sean O'Driscoll has made moves and secured his first signing of the summer in the shape of Arsenal youngster Jordan Wynter.

The 19-year-old became a professional last season but was not able to force his way into the first team.

Now he has turned down a new contract with the Gunners, opting instead to join Bristol City where first team football would be easier to come by for the midfielder.

O'Driscoll told the club's official website: 'Jordan is a versatile player schooled at Arsenal Football Club.

'He is comfortable in possession, strong physically and a welcome addition to the club as we try to change the dynamic of the squad.

'He is a young player we feel we can develop, and one that has all the desire and hunger to succeed.'

From talking to Arsenal fans on the internet, they are not too bothered about losing him because they are only interested in big names now that might bring them a trophy. But he is a good prospect and always gives 100 per cent when in the ressies.
