Reading Test For Robins

Reading Test For Robins

Bristol City now have a home fixture in with their pre-season games after the club revealed today that they will be taking on Reading.

Nigel Adkins will bring his relegated side to Ashton Gate on Weds 24th July; the kick off time will be 19:45.

A couple of days later and City play their last friendly at Bournemouth, meaning that Sean O'Driscoll's side will have a couple of good tests before they move onto league action.

O'Driscoll told the club's official website: "Nigel rang me up and asked for the friendly at Ashton Gate and we were pleased with the opportunity. I think he`ll be looking to tinker with the dynamics of Reading`s play slightly this season and it`ll be a meaningful game for them, as it will us."
