City Boss To Run An Eye Over Two Keepers

City Boss To Run An Eye Over Two Keepers

Bristol City boss Sean O'Driscoll has two goalkeepers lined up for trials with the club during pre-season as he hunts for the new man between the sticks.

Tom Heaton and Dean Gerken have both left the club, leaving City short on stoppers ahead of the new season.

The duo will be put through their paces and if things go well, both of the as yet un-named pair could be employed by City as number one and number two.

'We've got a couple coming down in pre-season on trial,' O'Driscoll told the club's official website.

'We're just after a number one and a number two really.

'I don't think any of the Under-18 goalkeepers are ready to be on the bench, so we'll be looking for another young one we can develop.'
