Another League Cup Tie Against Gills.

This time last year Bristol City found out that they would be taking on Gillingham in the first round of the League Cup.

This season it's the same again, City have been drawn against the Gills, although this time at the Priestfield Stadium, giving the Robins a chance to wipe from their memories last season's 2-1 defeat.

12 months ago Gillingham were in League Two while City were getting set for another Championship campaign, but the scoreline at Ashton Gate reflected how the season would pan out for both clubs with the Gills being promoted into League One, while City managed to finish bottom of the league and were relegated into the third tier.

All ties are due to be played the week commencing August 5th.
