Chelsea Set To Sign City Starlet

Chelsea are the club that look like signing Bristol City teenager Jacob Maddox.

Midfielder Maddox is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the country, even at the tender age of just 14.

The youngster was playing in the under 14 set up and was promoted to the under 18's by City who regard the player very highly.

But a club like Bristol City have little chance of hanging onto players like Maddox when the big clubs come calling and they have had several interested Premier League club monitoring the lad's progress.

Sky Sports News say that Maddox is believed to have agreed a four-year deal at Chelsea with Bristol City after a compensation fee was agreed between the two clubs.
