Veteran Signs New Deal

Bristol City defender Louis Carey has signed a new 12 month contract with the club.

The 36-year-old's long career with the club goes back to 1995 and he has made over 640 appearances.

Sean O'Driscoll has no doubts that the veteran will be a valuable member of the squad next season.

He told the club's official website: 'I think Louis has an important part to play on the pitch; he'll never let anybody down when he pulls on a Bristol City shirt.'
