Steve Cotterill The New Man For City?

According to reports in the local press, Steve Cotterill could be the next man in charge. Well, he's an early favourite anyway.

Odds have dropped on the ExCheltenham Town manager coming to Ashton Gate; he now also has lots of experience in the job because after leaving Whaddon Road, he has managed Burnley and Nottingham Forest.

He also had a mega short spell at Stoke City before walking out of the job.

He most recently had a coaching role at Loftus Road with QPR, but quit the post so he is now a free agent.

Odds are so low now on Cotterill that it's not worth putting a bet on and it's believed that the powers that be at Ashton Gate have already been in touch with the possible new leader.

Cotterill also has friends on the City board and has been a regular visitor to Ashton Gate.

The reason the odds are so low is because of people backing the wrong man
