'If It's Football, It's Vital'

City Beaten By High Flying Wolves

Bristol City did themselves no favours after going down 3-1 at promotion chasing Wolves on Saturday.

But while City continue to struggle, Wolves closed the gap on the leaders and are now serious challengers for an automatic promotion place once again.

Nouha Dicko fired Wolves ahead with an angled left-foot shot but City levelled through Sam Baldock, who fired home from the penalty spot after James Henry had pulled down Greg Cunningham.

But Wolves took the lead once again when a cross from Dicko deflected in off defender Derrick Williams.

And substitute Bakary Sako settled it the game once and for all when he fired home with a low drive from 20 yards out.

Steve Cotterill's City side are now second from bottom, three points from safety.

The City boss told reporters after the game: 'There was nothing wrong with where we were and what we were doing, it was our selection.

'As disappointing as it is, we will continue to play like that. We've played that from the minute I came in the door and we will not change.

'They know that would be the disappointment of today and we will work to make sure this doesn't happen again.'

we must have expected this result, the games that count are Crewe, Stevenage, Notts Co, Tranmere. If we dont win all those games then we are in the bottom league.

Might as well start looking at the league two ground guide because we are going to need it, i;m in no doubt about that

I dont see any miracle change coming about, hope I'm wrong but we simply let too many goals in

Wolves were a good side, and I think they won this game without getting into top gear
