City Set To Take On Sheffield United..

Bristol City travel to Sheffield United this weekend to take on a much improving Sheffield United side.

The Blades have won their last four games on the bounce including two FA Cup ties against Fulham and Nottingham Forest, they will be looking to make the game against City win number four on the trot and leapfrog Steve Cotterill's men in the league table.

They will have the option of playing new signing Ben Davies, he could get his first start for Nigel Clough's side after coming on as a sub during the win against Gillingham last time out.

United are playing their third game in seven days so Clough could bring in midfielder Stefan Scougall and winger Jamie Murphy remembering that his side is in action again on Tuesday against Colchester.

Defender John Brayford faces a late test on a muscle injury which forced him to miss out on Tuesday night.

City have no fresh injury worries and Cotterill will be hoping that his side can stretch their unbeaten record to four games. The City boss commented that his side were tired after the 2-2 draw with Tranmere Rovers, but they have had a week long rest and should be ready to go again.

Midfielders Liam Kelly and Stephen Pearson continue to build up to full fitness after long lay-offs and will feature for the club's under-21s again on Monday night. Cotterill will also be without Marvin Elliott and Scott Wagstaff.

We really could do with winning this one, defeat would push us right in it again.
