Cotterill Pleased With City Performance

Steve Cotterill was pleased with the way his side handled themselves, managing to take the lead three times before picking up the points at Shrewsbury.

It was the Robins first trip to Greenhous Meadow and they took slightly over 1200 supporters who stayed right behind their side even though they did have to soak up some pressure late on.

City had taken the lead twice, through Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and a Tamika Mkandawire own goal, but twice Shrewsbury pulled back level through Mkandawire and Paul Parry.

"It was always going to be a tough game and we knew that," Cotterill told Bristol City Player.

"It was fantastic to get the three goals, we were delighted with that. We`re probably always going to concede because we`re always looking to score goals."
