Relief for manager

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson was a relieved man, after Saturday's 2-0 win over Huddersfield ended their nine-game losing streak.

He admitted: 'Of course there is relief, I think people who understand football recognise we were getting things together, but perhaps 30 per cent of our fans were staring to lose faith.

'We are starting to show the level of fitness and passion I demand as a manager.

'The fans saw that and were a big influence with their positive backing. Hopefully, we can build from here.'
