Bad news for Jevons as he has suffered from ankle ligament damage which had lead him to be confirmed he will be out for around 2 weeks.
Johnson told the Evening post 'It's a blow, because Jevo has been going really well for us.
'He's done some damage to the ligaments and it will be a good two weeks before he can play. But he's a quick healer and we'll keep our fingers crossed.'
So maybe he will be back by the Boro FA Cup home game if he heals quickly.
Meanwhile City have confirmed tickets for that match (Middlesboro on jan 27th) will be put on sale on Thursday.
