Bridges to join Carlisle

Bridges to join Carlisle

Striker Michael Bridges has been released from his contract at Bristol City, leaving him free to move to League Two side Carlisle when the transfer window opens.

The former Sunderland man moved to Ashton Gate in the summer, but failed to make an impact and has been on loan at the Cumbrians.

He will sign an 18-month contract at Brunton Park.
