City fail in pospisil bid

City have today failed in their bid to sign Czech striker Michael Pospisil from Hearts.

After having a bid believed to be around 150k accepted from Hearts, Pospisil went away to think about the deal but his agent today told bbc.co.uk/football that he rejected our offer:-

'Michal was very flattered by the interest shown by Bristol City and he was very impressed by the manager.

'But he's decided to stay with Hearts and fight for his place.'

'He'll review the situation at the end of the season'.
