Six On International Duty For Bristol City

Bristol City will have six players out on international duty in the game scheduled for October.

Bailey Wright, Callum O'Dowda and Hordor Magnusson face World Cup qualifiers for their respective countries, and we have Gustav Engvall, Academy graduate Lloyd Kelly and on loan West Bromwich Albion youngster Jonathan Leko out on youth level duties as well.

Wright has been called up by the Australian squad for their double header with Syria. They face Syria in Malaysia on October 5 before hosting them in the return leg in Sydney on October 10.

The winner of those games face another doubleheader against the fourth placed side in the CONCACAF group, likely to be either Panama, USA or Honduras

O'Dowda is with Ireland for their games against Moldova in Dublin on October 6 and Wales in Cardiff three days later.

Magnusson's Iceland face Turkey on October 6 before hosting Kosovo on October 9.

Engvall joins up with the Swedish Under 21s for their away game in Belgium on October 6 before hosting Malta on October 10.

Kelly could add to his two England Under 20 caps when they face Italy on Gorgonzola on October 6 before hosting Czech Republic on October 10.

Finally, Leko has received the call from the England Under 19s for their away games against Czech Republic on October 6 and Slovakia on October 9.
