Weale extends stay

Chris Weale has extended his stay at City on a rolling month to month contract.

The former Yeovil custodian has had an injury plagued stay at Ashton Gate picking up injuries in training.

Weale who had knee surgery then came back for his first start against Middlesbrough in the FA cu 4th round Replay at the riverside. The keeper did remarkably well saving an extra-time Yakubu penalty. But since then he has agitated the knee injury and has been out since then.

Gary Johnson told the official site 'Everyone's Happy.'

Weale will remain on a rolling month to month contract during rehabilitation and then may be offered a full-time contract.

if he saved a yakubu penalty he must be doing alright. he rarely misses and he hits it so hard he almost breaks the back of the net.
