Not a Happy Easter
The transfer of Jermaine Easter from Stockport County has been called off, City Manager Gary Johnson has announced.
The player visited Ashton Gate this morning for a medical and to discuss terms but left without agreement being reached.Apparently, Gary Johnson sensed a lack of enthusiasm from the prospective signing during their negotiations and decided to abort the deal, explaining that he wanted all players at Ashton Gate to have the same enthusiasm for the club as he has.
It seems probable that City will now turn their attention elsewhere in efforts to strengthen the squad before Tuesday's closure of the transfer window.
