Awards For Bristol City Duo

Gary Johnson has picked up the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award for the West, with Bristol City goalkeeper Adriano Basso also picking up an award after being named the regions top footballer.

Johnson has enjoyed a successful time since taking over as Bristol City manager and guided them to the Championship, where he has steered them into a play-off position, which they currently hold.

Apart from missing one match last season Basso played in all the other matches that Bristol City played as promotion was achieved, in no small part thanks to him.
