City Set To Seal Adebola Deal

Bristol City are set to complete the signing of Coventry forward Dele Adebola.

Championship rivals Coventry had originally turned down City first offer though to be around 200,000, since then City Chairman Steve Lansdown has upped the bid which has now been accepted.

Adebola has scored 6 times in 30 appearances for the Sky Blues and has agreed terms on an 18 month contract at Ashton Gate.

Iain Dowie confirmed to the Evening Post: 'Dele is on his way to Bristol. He has received a better offer than we were able to give him and he goes with our blessing.

'Dele has been an outstanding servant to Coventry and we wish him all the best in the future.'

Adebola should make his debut in Saturday's Championship clash with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
