'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sub Cotterill gives City lead.

Gary Johnson rang the changes, again, for tonight's match at Scunthorpe. Matt Heywood was forced to withdraw from the side , so Liam Fontaine continued in the centre of defence alongside the returning Louis Carey. Craig Woodman returned from suspension in place of Adam Green while Scott Brown made the starting line up on the right of midfield, with Scott Murray moving to the left. Cole Skuse was preferred to Alex Russell in the centre of midfield with Marcus Stewart partnering Steve Brooker up front.
City faced more disruption when a thigh strain forced Marcus Stewart to withdraw after 21 minutes, but his replacement Dave Cotterill was on target to give City the lead ten minutes later.
