City Take On Blackpool

City take on Blackpool this weekend at Ashton Gate and even though it's still fairly early in the season, we are starting to look at games as 'must win'.

But we are looking at keeping clean sheets to help do that and you have to admit that so far City have never looked like keeping the opposition out.

And it gets no easier with Blackpool in town; they will be looking for a win that could take them from mid table to within striking distance of a playoff spot.

Vital Quotes:

Neil Danns: "The main goal during the loan is to get some game time, but also to help the team. I`ll give my all while I am here.

"Once I found out I was coming here, I went on to the website to find out about the squad. With some of the quality on show, I`m surprised at the position the team is in but hopefully I can help do something about that.

"I`ve played with a number of the squad, like (Neil) Kilkenny and Dean (Gerken), and I know Jon Stead and Steven Davies really well.

Bristol City Team News:

Bristol City may hand a debut to new signing Neil Danns after he joined on loan from Leicester in midweek.

Derek McInnes is without six players through injury including defenders Greg Cunningham, Stephen McManus, Louis Carey and midfielder Jody Morris.

Player to watch: Sam Baldock

City really need him to find his touch and start delivering the goals again.

Blackpool Team News:

Blackpool will be without Matt Phillips (toe) and Gary Taylor-Fletcher (hamstring).

Tiago Gomes in line to replace Phillips, while Kevin Phillips (calf) is available again.

Player to watch: Thomas Ince

He will see this game as a good chance of bagging even more goals for the Seasiders.
