Saturday, 14 September
Peterborough United come to Ashton Gate on Saturday and they will be looking to get back to winning ways after a couple of slip ups spoilt their good start to the season.
But Sean O'Driscoll is looking for a win and it can't come soon enough as far as City fans are concerned, there is a lot of belief that more league wins will soon follow once they get the first one under their belt.
And with still being on a high after knocking Rovers out of the JPT, Saturday could just be the day when it all turns round for the Robins.
Sean O'Driscoll: 'We've had a welcome break. We had one or two people that have missed games through fatigue, so we're grateful for that.
'Peterborough's plight in the Championship [last season] was a bit different to ours. They were the form team from Christmas onwards so they were unlucky [to be relegated].
'Bouncing between the divisions is part of their DNA. Buying and selling is the way they've financed the football club and they've done it well.
'They're capable of scoring goals so their concentration will be on keeping a clean sheet.'
Darren Ferguson: 'I'm sure Bristol City were looking for a better start.
'But I think they'll be there or thereabouts and will be close at the end of the season.
'They are capable of getting a few wins on the bounce.
'They won't be full of confidence so it's up to us to make sure we impose ourselves on the game early on.'
Defender Derrick Williams is back in training after a hamstring problem.
Midfielder Marvin Elliott needs assessing before the game as he will just be returning from international duties with Jamaica.
His goal against Rovers was out of this world and it goes to show that he is a danger to defences from anywhere within shooting range.
Peterborough United are hopeful Tommy Rowe will recover from an ankle injury in time for the game.
Joe Newell is back after taking time out with a broken hand.
Cost Posh a few bob and is looking to get something like the 16 goals he hit for Southend last season. He'll need to be watched closely.

Both sides can score and both sides can let them in as well. I'm going for a 3-2 win for City.
