City welcome Brentford to Ashton Gate on Tuesday evening and once again they are looking for their first win of the season in the league.
The day that City get three points from a single game must be getting closer as they have been pretty unlucky in the last couple of games, manager Sean O'Driscoll will hopefully see his hard work pay dividends soon and we hope that he is given the chance to finish off what he has started at Ashton Gate.
Brentford come to Ashton Gate having just put an end to a three game losing streak by beating Colchester 3-1 at home last weekend. Ewe Rosler's team looked like they could have been heading for another defeat after falling behind early in the second half.
But in the last 14 minutes they scored three times and that can only give the Bees a massive lift ahead of the clash with City.
But fingers crossed, tonight could be the night.
Sean O'Driscoll: "In our last two away games in the League we`ve been defensively tight, which is a good trait to have, but that`s thrown into a bit of confusion with Aden`s suspension.
"We want to try and make it as simple as we possibly can to ensure the players are confident in what they can do.
"Brentford have gone to away games and been a bit gung-ho, which has worked and not worked in equal measures for them.
"But it`s probably more about how we approach the game now given the situation." (B.E.P.)
Lewis Dunk is expected to make his first league start for City as Aden Flint is serving a one match ban for picking up five yellow cards so far this season.
Bristol City head coach Sean O`Driscoll makes one enforced change to his side for Tuesday`s home League One game against Brentford at Ashton Gate.
Marvin Elliott stands a chance of going into the side after he returned back from international duty late but managed to train with the rest of the squad for a couple of days.
James Wilson has just returned from a loan spell with Cheltenham Town but will not be available for this game after injuring an ankle in training.
Academy youngster Mitch Brundle is expected to be called up to provide defensive cover on the bench.
Close to getting back on the score sheet at the weekend, won't miss another chance like that again.
Brentford have a fully-fit squad.
Midfielder Adam Forshaw had been unwell in the build-up to Saturday's 3-1 win over Colchester but managed to play for an hour and should be involved again.
Winger Kadeem Harris, who joined on loan from Cardiff on Friday, came off the bench to score on his debut against the U's and will be hoping for a start.
29 year old, top scorer last season has five so far this term.
