Anonymous for much of the first half Jamies Beattie's wonderstrike on the stroke of half time followed by an own goal and a towering header put paid to Bristol City's Saturday. Sturt Hall described City as having a silky passing game undone by the brute strength of the Sheffield blade. He also described us as Bristol. Maybe he was at a rugby match, who knows? City rarely threatened Paddy Kenny's goal and the Blades side ran out very comfortable winners. In submitting this report I had missed a bit of the info and a useful message box told me 'Away goals missing'. 'Tell me about it', I thought.
