'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Millens View: Swansea away (0-1)

Bristol City`s win over Swansea at the Liberty Stadium last night took them out of the bottom three.

And manager Keith Millen could not praise his players highly enough.

He said: 'To come here, against a very good side with a fantastic home record, and come away with three points, I could not ask for any more. That was the performance and result of the season.

'The last two months we have not spoken about the table but about our performances. If you perform well you get results.

'We have set ourselves short and long term goals and we will stick to them. We won't get carried away.

'But the more games you win the more belief you get and the more committed the players become.

'I didn't want us to come here and just sit back and defend because you know Swansea will pass it around. We thought they might be jaded from Sunday and we started on the front foot, deserved to get the goal and had we been a bit more clinical we may have got the second goal.'
