'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Millen's View: City Unlucky To Lose.

Bristol City boss Keith Millen thought his side were unlucky to go down 3-2 at home to Nottingham Forest on Bank Holiday Monday.

Forest had gone two goals up in the first half and looked to be cruising, but City roared back to level through headers from Marvin Elliott and Jon Stead only to see Luke Chambers nod home from a corner to give the visitors the points.

In a frantic ending to the game, either side cold have added to the score and that`s why Keith Millen considered his side unlucky losers.

'We gave away two soft goals and gave ourselves a mountain to climb, despite being the better side in the first half,' he told the Press Association.

'I told the players at half-time that if they got an early goal the game was still there for us to win and that's how it panned out.

'We had some great chances and the winning goal has taken a deflection off one of our lads and looped into the only part of the net we couldn't defend.

'It was a cruel way to lose, but you can't afford to give good sides a two-goal start.'

Actually, the reason they lost is because they can't defend and there is a complete useless git in goal who cares nothing for the club, just his overfilled wage packet
