Pemberton Reveals Players Got A Rocket

Bristol City's assistant manager John Pemberton revealed that the team got a right rollicking from Sean O'Driscoll at half time on Saturday.

City had gone into the break a goal down so O'Driscoll felt it was time to give the lads a few words of wisdom.

And it seemed to do the trick with Jay Emmanuel-Thomas grabbing two goals in a minute before Scott Wagstaff produced a beauty from the edge of the area. Carlisle grabbed a goal back but JET was in a scoring mood and he got City's fourth and his third with just a few minutes left on the clock.

Pemberton said to reporters: 'At half time the lads got a volley and they came out and responded really well.

'The first half was probably our worst of the season, but in the second half we were very good.

'That will give us confidence. We've been close in a lot of games and have finally got the monkey off our back.

'I honestly think we are in a false position. It's a relief for us and we can start to climb the table.'
