Cotterill Feels City Should Have Had All 3 Points
City certainly had more than their fair share of the possession in a game that Aaron Wilbraham equalised for the Robins with a bullet header after Joe Bryan had put in a good cross from the left hand side.
Before that, Neil Kilkenny gave the hosts the lead five minutes into the second half when he fired high into the net from distance.
In the first half City had the better of the chances with Jonathan Kodjia and Luke Freeman both going close.
And that's how the story continued with Freeman and Wilbraham both getting the best out of Jordan Pickford in the Preston goal, Preston also went close with Joe Garner hitting the woodwork.
Cotterill told BBC Radio Bristol: 'Without a shadow of a doubt we deserved more. I just thought we were brilliant.
'I'm really proud of the team to play that kind of football at such a difficult venue.
'We are an attacking team and that's why those fans will be going home really pleased with their performance.'
