Town Boss McCarthy Happy Enough With Draw.

Town Boss McCarthy Happy Enough With Draw.
Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy said that his side could have taken all three points from the game against Bristol City on Saturday, but he was pleased enough with the draw

Midfielder Ryan Fraser scored a late equaliser that gave Ipswich a point against Steve Cotterill's struggling side who were left on the bottom of the league one table after this game.

Ipswich took the lead when captain Luke Chambers scored less than a minute into the second half.

City pulled level through Luke Freeman and a couple of minutes later they took the lead when Jonathan Kodjia grabbed a goal.

McCarthy told BBC Sport: 'They started well and we needed a fantastic save from Dean Gerken to keep us in it, but I changed our shape and I thought we were the better team in the first half.

'Their second goal was a good one from their point of view but defensively appalling.

'But I must admire the response of my team for the way they got back in the game - and we had enough chances to win it.'
