No Op For Gladwin
Gladwin had to go back to QPR to let his parent club assess the injury and although it is good news that he needs no surgery, it is still unlikely that he will return to full fitness to be used properly before the end of the season.
QPR say that the player will be out of action for around four weeks and then he will be facing an uphill battle to get fit so that he can play a part in City's run in to the end of the season.
Lee Johnson said to the Bristol Post: 'Ben has gone back to QPR and the opinion within their medical team is that he does not need an operation.
'I'm told he could be back within three to four weeks, providing he suffers no further setbacks.
'Of course I'd like to think he might still be available to us, because he is a good player and had such a great season last year.
'But it will take him time to get back to full fitness after all the injury problems he has had this season and it may be he can only be of service as an impact substitute.'
